The Inca Trail porters will help in the conservation of the biodiversity of Machupicchu:
Faced with the influx of visitors that Machupicchu receives daily, the porters of the Inca Trail to Machupicchu and support personnel that provide services on the Inca road network, these actions will be added to the conservation and protection of the archaeological heritage of the historic sanctuary of Machupicchu , and for this the porters and support staff will be trained by the national service of protected areas by the Sernanp state, this training consists of strategies for the conservation of the cultural and cultural heritage of Machupicchu and as a provision of the tourist service, so that the tourist activity that develops in this natural area is of good quality and above all guarantees the safety of visitors, and improves the quality of tourist service provision, and the implementation of good practices in the management of solid waste, and these workshops will be held in calca, Cusco Urubamba and will be replicated in the provinces of Paucartambo, Quispicanchis and anta, during this month, thus arriving to train more than 5,000 support people, porters and cooks, this will be ready for the next reopening of the Inca Trail that is planned for the month of March.
